Strategic Partnerships Director
Role Summary
The Director Strategic Partnerships is responsible for delivery and management of the most strategic accounts within Wejo, in terms of size, value and strategic importance to the business. Responsible for the teams that work across our ingress and egress verticals, you will lead the direction of the marketplace growth by working closely with the executive team.
You will deliver the commercial revenue targets by driving the commercial direction of the business by having a clear understanding of the business needs, commercial partnerships and those products and propositions.
A prerequisite for everyone working in Wejo is a high level of personal resilience and the ability to manage changing priorities and complexity well.
Key Responsibilities – what I do mostly
- Responsible for driving annual sales and revenue targets for each defined territory
- Diverse leadership role that helps shape the commercial strategy of the business
- Deep understanding of the company vision and our competitive and market environments
- Set, track, report on and deliver against ambitious growth targets
- Develop and maintain strategic business partnerships across the automotive and data marketplace
- Identify both existing and new markets for the use of automotive data
- Responsible for assessing the marketplaces in order of value and prioritizing and coordinating the efforts accordingly
- Build and execute on sales strategies at both country level, developing functioning global commercial infrastructure
- Take a global perspective on all market opportunities and lead in the assessment and prioritisation of those market segments
- Ensuring a professional image of the company and themselves is presented at all times.
